Chapter 9 : The challenge

Sohyeon ran to Jihyun.

Sohyeon : "Yah , Jihyun-ah. Gwenchana ? (are u ok)"
Jihyun : "ne. im fine. kaja"

when Doojoon and Gikwang arrived at Doojoon's home.. (Gikwang always hangout at Doojoon's house)

Doojoon : "can u believe her ?"
Gikwang : "yah , but u're too mean to her. she didnt even do anything wrong"
Doojoon : "u're getting on her side now ?"
Gikwang : "im not on anyone's side. it's just that.."
Doojoon : "whatever"

there was an upcoming exam approaching Incheon High School students..
everybody studied their best.

Doojoon is known as the school's gangster but the truth is he is a genius. that's why the principal doesnt want to expel him too soon. he once got good grades. but since his mother's death , that seem to be a problem now.

most of the students in his class were busy studying , but he was sleeping soundly.

Jihyun saw Doojoon.

Jihyun : "shish , lazyhead" *talking to herself

but suddenly ...

Doojoon : "i heard that" *suddenly waking up
Jihyun : *startled and pretend to read her book back
Doojoon : "yah , do u think u're that smart ?"
Jihyun : "mwoo ? (what)"
Gikwang : "yah , but she is the top student in this school" *whispering to Doojoon
Doojoon : "top student huh ?"
Jihyun : "yah ! what's wrong with u ?" *standing up
Sohyeon : "Jihyun-ah. ignore him. he's like that"

then , the class went as usual. while recess..
Jihyun cant keep off her mind about the things that Doojoon said to her. suddenly , she stood up and went over to Doojoon and Gikwang.

Gikwang : "wae ?" *surprised
Jihyun : "yah ! jerk !"
Doojoon : "what do u want ?"
Jihyun : "okay. i heard u used to be the top student of this school. how about competing for the upcoming exam ?"
Doojoon : "i have no time for that"

and he leaves her.. but Jihyun went after him..

Jihyun : "yah !"
Doojoon : *keep walking
Jihyun : "stop right there !"
Doojoon : "mwoo ?"
Jihyun : "accept my challenge"
Doojoon : "shiro ! ( i dont want )"
Jihyun : "yah , just accept it !"
Doojoon : "okay. what do i get ?"

Gikwang came...

Gikwang : "yah , Jihyun. dont do anything stupid"

but Jihyun ignored him..

Jihyun : "whoever lost , will be a slave for a month to the winner"
Doojoon : "mwo ?"
Jihyun : "dont tell me u're afraid"
Doojoon : "sure. okay. easy enough"

and he leaves her and Gikwang behind..

Gikwang : "u seriously dont know what u're doing right now"
Jihyun : "wae ?" *suddenly afraid
