Chapter 27 : The Meeting

so , Gikwang suggested that they go to an amusement park.so they played a few games there. and had fun. but of course , Doojoon wasnt comfortable with the close relationship between Gikwang and Jihyun.

Gikwang : "want to eat ice cream ?"
Jihyun : "uh , ne. sure"

on their way to the ice cream shop..

Dara : "Doojoon-ah"
Doojoon and Gikwang : *startled
Jihyun : *confuse

Gikwang : "oh. ne. annyeong Dara-noona. what are u doing here ?"
Dara : "im taking my aunt's daughter for a walk. u ?"
Gikwang :"oh. we were just having fun"
Doojoon : "i'll go 1st" *walk away
Dara : *grabs his hand "Doojoon-ah , we need to talk"

so they went to a private place to talk.

Jihyun : ' i've seen her before '
Gikwang : "Jihyun , let's go"
Jihyun : "ne"

Gikwang saw that Jihyun was continously looking at Dara and Doojoon. probably wondering who she is.
after a while , Jihyun remembered that it was the girl from the picture she saw at Doojoon's room the other day.

Jihyun : "oh !"
Gikwang : "waeyo ?"
Jihyun : "i've seen that girl before"
Gikwang : "who ? Sandara ?"
Jihyun : "her name is Sandara ?"
Gikwang : "ne"

meanwhile..

Doojoon : "what is it ?"

he was trying to avoid eye contact with Dara.

Dara : "how have u been ?"
Doojoon : "im fine. how bout u ?"
Dara : "that's a relief. im .. also fine"
Doojoon : "that , that's good"
Dara : "i saw u the other day"
Doojoon : "u did ?"
Dara : "ne. u've , chged a lot"
Doojoon : "so do u"

it was silence for a while. after a long time separating , they met each other again.

Dara : "Doojoon-ah , are u still mad at me ?"
Doojoon : *silence
Dara : "cheongmal mianhae. (im really sory) for leaving u just like that"
Doojoon : "why are u saying this to me ?"
Dara : "i just want to clear things up"
Doojoon : "forget it"
Dara : "i have my own reasons"
Doojoon : "u dont know what i've been through"
Dara : "i have to" *began tearing up
Doojoon : "let's just stop here. im sure u're happy now without me" *attempt to walk away

but..

Dara : "na apa (im sick)"
Doojoon : *stopped and turned around to look at Dara.

Chapter 26 : Do i like u ?

it was the weekend..

Doojoon stare at his window for a long time. checking if Jihyun is at home or not. suddenly , Jihyun came out of her house.

Doojoon quickly hides himself.

Doojoon : "what am i doing now ?" *knock his head not that hard

he took another peek.

Doojoon : "yah , what is this ? what happened to me ? Do .. i like that girl ?"

Jihyun who was watering the flowers smiled brightly. it was a beautiful day.

Doojoon shook his head a few times.

Doojoon : "ani. ani. i must be sick"

and he held his forehead.

he saw dara's picture.

Doojoon : "no one after dara"

something unusual happened that day. Gikwang came to visit. or should it be say to see Jihyun ? it said to be unusual because he didnt hangout with Doojoon at his house on weekends.

there's a knock at Doojoon's house.
Doojoon's parents were busy people. so they didnt stay home often.

and so , Doojoon opened the door.

Gikwang : "annyeong" *smile
Doojoon : "yah , what.. what are u doing here ?" *startled
Gikwang : *went in the house "u seem shocked"
Doojoon : "ani. not that. but .."
Gikwang : "then ?"
Doojoon : "anyway , what are u doing here ?"
Gikwang : "should we hangout today ?"
Doojoon : *turn on the tv "ani. im not on the mood"
Gikwang : "jinja ? (really) i was planning to bring Jihyun along. too bad. then , i'll just go with her then" *naughty smile and facing backwards with Doojoon
Doojoon : "ne ?"

there's a knock at Jihyun's house. she opened the door.

Gikwang : "annyeong" *smiles
Jihyun : *startled "ne. annyeong"
Gikwang : "pali (fast) chg ur clothes. is ur father at home ?"
Jihyun : "ani. wae , waegurae ?"
Gikwang : "aish , pali go chg now"

so she did what Gikwang told her to. and came down. she put on tank top with jacket outside and denim jeans. with sneakers.

Gikwang : "kaja ~"

bringing Jihyun with him. bringing her to his bike. Jihyun saw Doojoon.

Jihyun : *startled "neo ? (you)"
Gikwang : "oh. i forgot to mention. he is coming with us"
Jihyun : "yah , where are we going ?"
Gikwang : "have fun" *smile and give Jihyun the helmet.

Doojoon was kinda jealous that time. he just glare at them.

Chapter 25 : Someone

Doojoon cant sit still in the house and went out to see what's going on. he overheard the conversation between Jihyun and Gikwang.

Jihyun : "but.."
Gikwang : "kaja ~"

taking Jihyun with him.

Doojoon : "where are they up to now ?"

out of curiousity , he followed them silently. Gikwang sense something wrong so he turned around a few times and saw Doojoon. Doojoon pretend to do something else as he doesnt want to get notice. but actually , Gikwang already knew that it was him. he just laugh.

Jihyun : "wae ?"
Gikwang : "ani"

so , they went to buy the ddeokbeokki.

Doojoon : "why does she looks so comfortable with him ?"

at the same time..

???? : "doojoon ?"

someone saw Doojoon from distance. she/he wants to call out his name , but Doojoon left too quickly.

???? : *sigh

still following Gikwang and Jihyun is Doojoon.

Gikwang : "so , tell me. what do u think of him ?"
Jihyun : "ne ??"
Gikwang : *stopped "Doojoon"
Jihyun : *also stopped
Doojoon : *startled
Jihyun : "err.."

there was no answer. Jihyun hesitates at how she should answer him.

Gikwang : "nevermind. kaja ~" *smile and walk away
Jihyun : "uh. ne"

Doojoon : "what he's up to ?"

after walking for sometime , Gikwang sent Jihyun home. and goes back to Doojoon's house to take his stuff before going home. he saw Doojoon was already there.

Gikwang : "have u been anywhere ?"
Doojoon : "ne ? ani. i was here watching the tv" *awkward and pretending
Gikwang : "but the tv is off"
Doojoon : *startled "ne ?" *quickly turn on the tv* "it's on. i think u're imagining things"
Gikwang : *laughs a little "then i'll get going. see ya ~"
Doojoon : "ne. annyeong ~"

Chapter 24 : Jealous ?

the weekend passed. and it was school day again..

at school..

Gikwang and Doojoon were walking around when they saw Jihyun.

then she accidently met eyes with Doojoon. and both look at other places after that..

Gikwang saw it but pretend he didnt.

Gikwang : "wanna grab lunch together later ?"

but suddenly..

Doojoon : "dont forget that u're still my slave"

Gikwang : "then let's eat lunch after u did that"

Doojoon : "she will be cleaning for a longgggggg time"

Jihyun : "huhhh ?"

while bringing Gikwang away from there.

Gikwang : "b-but.."

Jihyun : "aish , what's up with him"

so that afternoon , Jihyun , as promised went to Doojoon's house..

Gikwang was also there. Doojoon tried to make him go home earlier that day but Gikwang refused to.

there's a knock at the door..

Doojoon : "oh , she's here"

so , as usual , doojoon made her did a lot of work. althought he felt pity for her. and finally , he didnt know anymore tasks to give to Jihyun. so , he had to let her go home.

Jihyun was already outside the house when..

Gikwang : "Jihyun-ah. wanna eat ddeokbeokki ?"

and so he went in. straight to his room. as soon he went in his room , he threw the keychain elsewhere. and looked at Dara's picture.

Doojoon : "what are u doing now dara-ah ?" *sigh

the dinner was over and Jihyun and her family went home. they tried calling Doojoon down but he refuse to. saying that he's too tired.

before the Nam's family went home , Gikwang talked to Jihyun for a while..

Gikwang : "jihyun-ah"
Jihyun : "ne ?"
Gikwang : "er , that.."
Jihyun : "what is it ?"
Gikwang : "ur.."
Jihyun : "huh ?"

thinking for a while..

after Jihyun left..

Gikwang : "why cant i do it when im with her ?"

he used to ask for girl's phone number easily , but he's lost of words when he's with Jihyun.
he made his way to Doojoon's room.

Doojoon : "ne. are u staying for the night ?"
Gikwang : "as usual"

but Doojoon was very cold with him..

Chapter 22 : Happy Birthday , Nam Jihyun

at the store..

Gikwang went to the ice cream corner. while Doojoon looked around at other stuffs.

he saw a cute keychain of the letter "J".

he hesitates at first..

Doojoon : 'aish , why should i buy this ? it's not like she meant something'

and attempt to walk away from there..

but then , he stopped. and looked again at the keychain. then tried to walk away again. so , what is this guy's decision ?

meanwhile , Gikwang secretly looked at some cute dolls to buy for Jihyun. he picked out a cute white teddy bear with a note saying happy birthday.

both kept it as a secret.

7pm..

Jihyun and her family came to Doojoon's house. they had dinner. Jihyun was avoiding eye contact with both of the boys. especially , Doojoon.

so after dinner , the elders had a conversation. while Jihyun went outside the porch for fresh air. without her knowing , Gikwang suddenly came to her. holding something in his hand.

he approach secretly and close Jihyun's eyes from the back.

Gikwang : "guess who ?"

*if u watch running man , just imagine gary did this to Jihyo XD *

Jihyun : *takes off gikwang's hands off her eyes "yah , oppa ?"
Gikwang : "saengil-chukkae (happy birthday) , Jihyun-ah" *gives teddy
Jihyun : "oh" *startled

Jihyun was moved and she didnt know what to say..

Jihyun : "gweopda. gomawo , Gikwang-oppa" *smiling

Chapter 21 : Strange Acting

at Jihyun's house..

she kept thinking about the incident last night and also feel a bit happy bout it.

suddenly , Gikwang turned around. Jihyun quickly hides herself. she thought that Gikwang didnt see her , but actually he did.

Mr. Yoon : "yah, Doojoon-ah. tonight we'll be having dinner with our neighbour which also ur school's principal. it's his daughter birthday"

just when mr yoon was about to go..

Doojoon was startled.. he didnt know how to react. but somehow , he feels happy. Gikwang found that Doojoon didnt act cold as usual.

on their way to the car..

meanwhile..

Mr. Nam : "neo (you) , stay away from my daughter"

and he walks away..

and they went to somewhere where's there no ppl

Jihyun : "well , it's okay if u dont wanna tell me. i'm just relief that u didnt hate me"
Doojoon : "aren't u mad ?"

silence for a while...

Jihyun : "a little. but i know u have reasons for it"
Doojoon : "i lost my mother when i was 14..."
Jihyun : "oh , sorry to hear that"
Doojoon : "gwenchana. she died on my birthday. we were in the car going to the theme park to celebrate my birthday. that was when a car came by the opposite direction and hit our car. i became like this since then. bad huh ?"

it became quiet again...

but then they became so close , the atmosphere seems awkward.

it's awkward again. they didnt talk. and finally they fell asleep. in the classroom..

the foot steps were getting closer.

Jihyun was getting more scared. suddenly someone grabs her from the back..

Jihyun was startled indeed. she was speechless. she just looked at Doojoon.

suddenly , all the lights went out.

Doojoon : "seems like the power is out"

and they heard like a locking sound.

Jihyun : "what's that sound ?"

then , they went to the main entrance. Doojoon try to open it but couldnt.

Jihyun : "did they locked us in ?"
Doojoon : "yah ! anyone out there ?" *begin to knock on the door

but there was no reply. they tried the back door , but seems to have no luck.

Doojoon : "aishh !"
Jihyun : "aishh , jinja. im so tired"

they give up in finding the way out and started to walk around.

Jihyun : "did u bring ur handphone ? mine's out of battery"
Doojoon : "ani"

Doojoon and Jihyun found their way to the main source. and with Doojoon's help , the power is on again. they pass by a vending machine.

Doojoon who saw Jihyun who looked so tired began to feel a bit pity to her. and there's a growling sound..

Jihyun : "aishh" *embarassed while holding her stomach
Doojoon : "yah , did u bring money ?"
Jihyun : "oh , right."

and she pulls out a few coins in her pocket..

Doojoon : "okay. it's enough for 2 breads and 1 drink"

so , with Jihyun's money they manage to buy something to eat. Jihyun went to sit in the corner looking gloomy.

Doojoon : "yah , dont make that face. someone will find us here"
Jihyun : "ani. not that"
Doojoon : "so ?"
Jihyun : "i've been finding for my necklace for at least 5 hours now. and i still cant find it"
Doojoon : "so that's what u were looking for just now ?"
Jihyun : "ne ?"
Doojoon : "oh. nothing. aish , just a necklace. go and buy a new one"
Jihyun : "it was a birthday present from my father"

and Doojoon is out of words. after a while..

Doojoon : "yah , let me see ur bag"
Jihyun : "wae ?"
Doojoon : "just let me see what's inside"

Jihyun gave her bag to Doojoon. Doojoon checks her bag which is filled with books , stationery , and other stuffs. and something shiny fell out of the bag.

Doojoon : "yah , is this it ?" *showing the necklace to Jihyun
Jihyun : "oh , ne ! it's my necklace. yahh. it was there all the time" *happy
Doojoon : "aishh , and because of u im stuck here too"

Jihyun was smiling with joy. Doojoon just looked at her. mesmerized a bit.

Jihyun : "waegurae ?"
Doojoon : "oh , aniya. (nothing)"

after a while..

Jihyun : "yah , gomawo (thnk u)"
Doojoon : "ne. ne"

it was a bit awkward.

Jihyun : "yah"
Doojoon : *looked at Jihyun

suddenly , Jihyun came out with a funny face and funny actions. she was trying her best to make Doojoon laugh. Doojoon didnt even smile a bit.

Jihyun : "yah , u're not laughing ?"

and she made another silly action again. finally , Doojoon burst out with laughter.

Jihyun : "yah ! yah ! u're laughing !"

the atmosphere brightens a bit after that. but it didnt last long. it became awkward again.

Jihyun : "yah , why do u hate me so much ?

Chapter 17 : Searching

and that someone slowly walks out from there..

the condition remains for a week.. Gikwang and Doojoon didnt even hangout with each other anymore. these 3 people didnt talk for that number of time. Gikwang tried to talk to Jihyun but Jihyun is clearly trying to avoid him all the time. as well as Doojoon.

one day after school..

Jihyun : "yah , where's my necklace ?"
Sohyeon : "wae ?"
Jihyun : "my necklace is missing. the one that my father gave me for my birthday."

she began to search in her classroom. Sohyeon helped too. they search and search but was dissapointed because there's no sign of the necklace anywhere. it was almost dark.

Sohyeon : "yah , cant we find it tomorrow ?"
Jihyun : "ani. it's important to me"

but after seeing Sohyeon's condition who look so tired..

Jihyun : "u can go home first. i'll continue searching"
Sohyeon : "are u sure u're okay here ?"
Jihyun : "ne. i'll go back later on. dont worry bout' me okay"
Sohyeon : "ne. becareful okay"
Jihyun :  "ne. gomawo (thank u)"

she continued searching in the cafeteria , the hall way , the classes..

while at Doojoon's house..

there was a knock at the door.

Mr. Yoon : "oh. Mr. Nam. what broughts u here ?"
Mr. Nam (the principal) : "did u see Jihyun ?"

that caught a bit of Doojoon's attention..

Mr. Yoon : "wae ? what's wrong ?"
Mr. Nam : "she's not home yet. im worried about her"
Mrs Yoon : "have u report it to the police ?"
Mr Nam : "not yet"
Mr Yoon : "we'll wait for another hour. if she's not back yet , we'll report it to the police"

then at the dining table..

Doojoon : "i've finished eating"

but the food still left a lot more..

in Doojoon's room.. he was thinking hard and deep..

Doojoon : "aish , why should i care about her ?"

earlier at school , she saw Jihyun was deeply searching for something..

he tried to ignore it and try to go to sleep. but he couldnt..

Jihyun was still searching for the necklace.. but has no luck in finding it.. it was dark and she was hungry and scared..

Gikwang took Doojoon by the collar. now everyone is watching.

Doojoon : "go ahead. what are u waiting for ?"

but suddenly..

Jihyun : "yahh ! stop it ! u 2 are bestfriends. please dont fight"

both Doojoon and Gikwang are looking at Jihyun.

and Gikwang let Doojoon go..

Doojoon left the place with anger.

The students are talking about the incident. it became a hot issue now.

Gikwang : "yah , gwenchana (are u ok)"
Jihyun : "ne. im ok. u didnt have to do that for me"
Gikwang : "im sick with his hot-tempered attitude"
Jihyun : "yah , i said it's ok. now i feel guilty for making u 2 fight"
Gikwang : "nahh , it will be over by today"

this time , Jihyun didnt say anything..

Gikwang : "yah , come on. i'll send u home okay"

on their way to Gikwang's motorcyle..

Student #1 : "yah , have u no shame ? after making 2 bestfriends fight and even make Doojoon-oppa angry ?"
Student #2 : "Yah , oppa. why do u want to help her ?"
Student #3 : "she shouldnt be treat so nice"

Jihyun tried to ignore it but it hurt her so much..

Gikwang : "dont u have anything to do ? it's her. not u. if i found out u guys mess up with her again , i will not let u go"

the students were startled indeed. Gikwang never acted like that towards a girl before as he was such a playboy..

ariived at Jihyun's home..

Hyunseung and his friends then were called to the principal's office. Doojoon suspension had been taken back and replaced with Hyunseung and his gang. After a long conversation , Hyunseung and his friends finally get out of the office.

Hyunseung gave an evil look at Jihyun and said.

Hyunseung : "u'll regret this"

and walked out from there.

The principal came out and said.

Principal : "dont think that u saved my daughter , i would go easy on u"

well , the results are. Hyunseung and his friends got suspended. Doojoon will go back to school after 3 more days of suspension.

Jihyun : "gomawo (thank u) eoppa (dady)"
Principal : "ne" *walked from there
Doojoon : "kaja."
Gikwang : "oh , arent u gonna say thank u ?"

and she ran away from there. with an injured elbow. leaving her bike behind.

Doojoon : "kaja ~ (lets go)"

Doojoon went to sneak on the principal's daughter. her name is Nam Jihyun. she's a smart girl and the students at school used to tease her a nerd. but she's a one beautiful lady for sure. most of the students at school dislike her because she is the principal's daughter.

while Jihyun was about to ride on her bicycle , Doojoon threw a pebble right at her and it hit her on the arm.

Jihyun : "ouch ! yah ! who's there ?"

Doojoon : "she's the principal's daughter but she's riding a bike ?" *whispering
Gikwang : "she dont like to show off. that's what people said" *whispering

Doojoon threw another pebble towards Jihyun. and this time it hit her on the shoulder.

Jihyun : "aishh ! yahhhhhh ! "

Principal : "why Jihyun ?"
Jihyun : "uhh , aniya (nothing)"
Principal : "really ? hm , see u at school"
Jihyun : "ne. eoppa (dady)"

a few minutes after the principal left , Jihyun ride on her bike and went straight to school.

Doojoon : "what a dady's daughter"
Gikwang : "that's a nice one dude"
Doojoon : "it's only the beginning"
Gikwang : "but , i admit it. she's kinda cute u know"
Doojoon : "keep her for yourself then"

and he walks out from there. making his way to his house. in Doojoon's room ..

he lay down in his bed.

Gikwang went in and saw someone's picture.

Gikwang : "u still keep that ?"
Doojoon : *looked* "leave it there"
Gikwang : *took Dara's picture* "do u still <3 her ?"
Doojoon : *silence*
Gikwang : "accept the fact. she left u"

Chapter 1 : Suspended

Principal : "It's the fourth time already !"
Doojoon : "ne (yes) ne. stop the complain. just suspend me already"
Doojoon's Father : "aish , this kid !" *hit Doojoon's head "Im sorry sir. i'll make sure he wont do this again"
Principal : "u said that the last time."
Doojoon's Father : "im sorry. i really mean it this time"
Principal : "i gave u my last warning. if u wont stop , i have no other choice"
Doojoon : "whatever"
Doojoon's Father : *piss with Doojoon "okay sir. i'll make sure"

Doojoon and his father went out of the office.

Doojoon's father : "why do u have to keep involving in troubles ?!" *hit Doojoon's head
Doojoon : "aish ! stop hitting me already !" *walk away
Doojoon's father : "Yah !"
Doojoon : *keep on walking
Dojoon's father : "Yah ! aish , this kid"

at Doojoon's home..

As soon as they arrived home , Doojoon went straight to his room and slam the door.

Doojoon's mom : "again ?"
Doojoon's father : "ne (yes)"
Doojoon's mom : *sigh

Doojoon's real mother pass away when he was at the age of 13. since then , he changed and he became the school's gangster. He pick up a fight on anybody that pisses him off. especially , Jang Hyunseung. his father married again when he was 14. most of the girls at his school admired him , but most of the boys hate him. He once had a lover named Sandara Park. but she also left him. without any goodbyes. he lost trust in anybody but his bestfren now. His bestfriend is named Lee Gikwang. which the only guy he can share his secrets now.

Doojoon's mom: "doojoon-ah ~" *knock on door
Doojoon : "leave me alone"
Doojoon's mom : "arent u hungry ?"
Doojoon : "ani (no) just leave me alone"
Doojoon's mom : *sigh "ne (yes) i'll just leave this (food) here for u"

Doojoon : "whatever"

He was so frustrated now. he punch the wall as hard as he can.

Doojoon : "arghhh !!"

Doojoon's father : "let him be"
Doojoon's mom : "im worried about him"

the next day..

Doojoon woke up only to find the house was already empty. he saw the food that his mom left him the day before. he picked up the food and throw it in the trash can. he made his way to the kitchen and got himself a fresh orange juice from the fridge.

he called his bestfren. Gikwang.

and he hung up. he looked at the window and saw someone. a girl in his school's school uniform.
