Chapter 32 : Telling the.. TRUTH ?

Jihyun thought deeply about Gikwang's action towards her just now. It was indeed confusing. She felt her heart beats faster than a race acr. It disturbed her conscience.

She looked in the mirror. placing her hands on her cheek. visualizing the incident happened earlier.

Jihyun : "what are u , gikwang ?"

Gikwang : "ne ?"
Doojoon : "there is , right ?"
Gikwang : "uhh.."

He was going to say nothing but his jealousy took over himself. he thought of a crazy idea. still thinking about CHANGING THE TRUTH.

Gikwang : "there is"
Doojoon : "mwo ?"
Gikwang : ' sorry  doojoon-ah'
                "I... kissed her"
Doojoon : "wh.. where ?"
Gikwang : "on the cheek"
Doojoon : "what do u think u're doing ?" *sounds uneasy.
Gikwang : *smirk "wae ? are u getting angry now ?"
Doojoon : "a.. ani. i'm just shocked"
Gikwang : "then , doojoon-ah"
Doojoon : "ne ?"
Gikwang : "do u like her ?"

an unexpected question came out..

Gikwang : "do u ?"
Doojoon : "I..."

Gikwang knew , he was going to answer yes. so , before that happens..

Gikwang : "cause i like her"

Doojoon was shocked at Gikwang's confession.

Doojoon : *bitter laugh "aha. what do u mean by that ?"
Gikwang : "I'm not joking"
Doojoon : "aw , c'mon."
Gikwang : "i LIKE her , doojoon. i cant help myself but to keep LIKING her"
Doojoon : "rea... really ?"
Gikwang : "wae ? do u like her ?"

Chapter 31 : bestfriends

at Doojoon's home...
Doojoon :"aish , where are they ?"

he was waiting for Gikwang and Jihyun's return since he got back. He doesn't know why , but his heart says so.

Gikwang : "cheongmal mianhae"
Jihyun : "no. dont say anything"
Gikwang : "Jihyun-ah..."
Jihyun : "I.. I.. should go. my dad will be waiting for me"
Gikwang : "bu.. but.."

before Gikwang could finish his words , Jihyun left him and made her way back. regretfully , Gikwang kicked an empty can nearby.

Gikwang : "stupid ! how could i be so reckless ?"

He went after Jihyun but didnt get too close. He followed her silently until she reached her home.

Doojoon : "ow , there they are"

he noticed something different between Gikwang and Jihyun. it was too awkward.

Gikwang : "jihyun-ah. mianhae"

but Jihyun just ignored him.

*gikwang's handphone rings*

Gikwang : "yuhbaseyo ?"
doojoon : "yah , eodisseo?"
Gikwang : "me ? i'm  in front of ur house. wae ?"
doojoon : "nice. wanna grab some cold drinks ?"
Gikwang : "uh. ne. sure"

and so , they met a park nearby..

Doojoon : "u just came back ?"
Gikwang : "ne"
Doojoon : "did something happened ?"

Chapter 30 : the INCIDENT

truthfully , Gikwang knew that Doojoon has feelings for Jihyun , and Jihyun too seems to like Doojoon. this TRUTH hurt him eventhough Doojoon is his own bestfriend. he is now trying to CHANGE THE TRUTH.

at the candy stall..

Gikwang : "pick a candy that u want"
Jihyun : "i'm okay with anything" *smiles
Gikwang : "agashi , give us that one please:
Miss #1 : "ne"

after buying the candies..

Jihyun : "i.. have to go"
Gikwang : *saw a crowd at a park nearby "yah , let's see what's happening there" *grabs Jihyun's hand
Jihyun : "bu.. but"

it turns out that there are fireworks. Gikwang brought Jihyun a bit nearer to the crowd but not too close. they were both mesmerized by the beautiful fireworks.

while Jihyun was enjoying it , Gikwang just stare at her beauty. it felt like they were in their own world.

But something unexpected happened.

suddenly , Gikwang leaned to Jihyun. and he kissed her cheek !

Jihyun : *startled

Gikwang realized what he had just done. that incident happened out of the blue. it wasn't planned by Gikwang. and Jihyun didnt see that coming at all..

Chapter 29 : pretending !

Doojoon : "i'm going home"
Gikwang : "so quick ?"
Doojoon : "it's boring here"

Doojoon was about to leave when...

Jihyun : "jerk" *low voice
Doojoon : "mworago ?"
Jihyun : "i said u're a jerk"
Gikwang : "yah , Jihyun-ah" *trying to stop Jihyun
Doojoon : "say that again ?"
Jihyun : "u're a MEAN jerk !"
Doojoon : "what makes u say that ?" *serious face
Jihyun : "it's clearly that u made that unnie cry and u're asking why ?"
Doojoon : "what do u know ?" *trying to ignore and leave
Jihyun : "i know she's ur EX !"
Doojoon : *stopped and approach Jihyun "dont u think u know me that much just because we look close. troublesome"
Jihyun : "why do u pretend like u dont care ? i may know nothing but i know that u still <3 her. ur attitude shows everything"
Doojoon : "dont ever pretend like u know me"

and he walks out from there. leaving Jihyun and Gikwang behind.

Gikwang : "u dont understand him , Jihyun-ah"
Jihyun : "ne ?"
Gikwang : "he's been hiding his feelings all this while. so , it's hard to just let it go like that"
Jihyun : "but , still..."
Gikwang : "and by the way , he wont scold u anymore"
Jihyun : "how'd u know ?"
Gikwang : "nothing. well , do u wanna go home ?"
Jihyun: "uh , ne. sure"

on their way home

Jihyun : "Gikwang.. what do u mean by just now ?"

avoiding the question , he suddenly saw a candy stall.

Gikwang : "want some ?" *pointing at candy stall

and quickly , he made his way.

Chapter 28 : Truth

Jihyun was feeling a little bit strange. somehow uncomfortable seeing Doojoon and Dara's relationship.

Gikwang notices that.

Gikwang : "want to take a walk ?"
Jihyun : "ani. gwenchana"
Gikwang : "kaja~" *grabbing Jihyun's hand
Jihyun : "where are we going ?"

Gikwang brought her near a wishing fountain.

* u know where they throw coins and make a wish. XD*

Jihyun : "what are we doing here ?"
Gikwang : "here make a wish" *gives Jihyun a coin.
Jihyun : *confuse
Gikwang : "i used to come here when i was little with my parents"
Jihyun : "where are they ?"
Gikwang : *bitter smile "they're gone"
Jihyun : "oh , mianhae" *regretful
Gikwang : "ani. gwenchana. im staying with my aunt and uncle now. u know , my parents used to say that when u make a wish here , they'll come true. so i made one"
Jihyun : "did it came true ?"
Gikwang : "ani. in fact , my parents died right after i made that wish. car accident"
Jihyun : *silence and out of words
Gikwang : "pali make ur wish. dont take so serious about what i've just said just now. who knows. ur wish might just come true"
Jihyun : "ah. ne"

so she made a wish. while she was closing her eyes and making her wish , Gikwang was staring at her the whole time. after she made it , she realize that Gikwang was staring at her.

Jihyun : "waeyo ?"
Gikwang : "ani. what did u wish for ?"
Jihyun : *smiles "just something"


Doojoon : "mworago ?"
Dara : "they said it's pancreatic cancer. that's why i left u before. i didnt want u to see my condition worsened. but , the pain i felt everyday , i cant go through it without u" *tears started flowing down
Doojoon : *serious face. started to tear up a bit "and yet , u didnt tell me ?"
Dara : "i dont want u to get worry"
Doojoon : "no. it cant be !"
Dara : "i only hv 2months. that's why i came looking for u. Doojoon-ah"

Doojoon slowly walks out from there. cant accept the truth. leaving Dara who was crying behind.

Gikwang : "oh , Doojoon-ah. where's Dara-noona ?"

suddenly...

Dara : "im here. sorry we took a long time"
Gikwang : "noona , did u cry ?"
Dara : "ani."
Gikwang : "so , what did u talk about ?"
Dara : "nothing much" *bitter smile
Jihyun : "annyeonghaseyo. im Jihyun. Nam Jihyun"
Dara : "oh. ne. are u supposed , Gikwang 's girlfriend ?"
Jihyun : *startled "ani ! nothing like that. we're just friends"
Dara : "oh. ne. i understand. then , i'll get going. see u around"

before she go , she looked at Doojoon one more time. but Doojoon feeling too painful , didnt even glance at her.

Jihyun notices that.

after that , they went home.
